Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the active learner will:·
- Demonstrate the ability to teach patient about effects of two common anti-depressive medications on the fetus and breast milk production.
- Describe non-pharmaceutical therapies used to treat perinatal mood disorders.
- Identify at least three community resources for patient referral regarding perinatal mood disorders.
