Olathe Health has a strong history of providing advanced cardiac care to the communities we serve. Our team of specialists at the Kansas Cardiovascular Center includes cardiologists, heart surgeons, electrophysiologists, vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists. These professionals bring vast, collective experience and expertise to the treatment and correction of heart disease.

We also offer patients access to sophisticated technology, a Certified Chest Pain Center, dedicated STEMI teams trained to treat heart attack patients as quickly as possible, and community screening programs including HeartScore64 calcium scoring and walk-in cholesterol testing.

Olathe Medical Center (OMC) now offers a dedicated PET/CT imaging scanner available daily on its campus, located at the Kansas Cardiovascular Center. OMC was the first to offer mobile PET/CT imaging services to the area in 2004 and is once again taking the lead as the only provider in the metro offering multi-modality imaging (Oncology, Cardiology and Neurology) from a single location.

Another area where OMC takes the lead is in treating heart rhythm disorders. OMC is the only hospital in Kansas using the newest technology, a cryoablation catheter system, to treat atrial fibrillation, the most common irregular heartbeat condition.
