Orthopedic Walk-In Care Now Available
If you get injured in everyday life or while playing sports, you want the best care as quickly as possible. That’s why we offer orthopedic walk-in care without an appointment.
Olathe Health Johnson County Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, part of The University of Kansas Health System, offers walk-in care for orthopedic and sports injuries Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Visit 20920 W. 151st St., Suite 100, Olathe, KS 66061.
Treatment is available for those 5 years old and above. Injuries treated include:
- Bone fractures
- Dislocations
- Joint injuries
- Sprains
- Strains
Patients at the orthopedic same-day clinic are seen without an appointment by an advanced practice provider or a physician. Follow-up appointments can also be scheduled as needed with orthopedic and/or sports medicine physicians and surgeons.
Patients who have suffered open fractures, serious lacerations or finger amputations should go straight to an emergency department.

What if an injury happens when the clinic is closed?
The University of Kansas Health System has partnered with HURT!, a mobile application you can access after hours to get free injury advice from orthopedic specialists. Visit PoweredByHurt.com/KansasHealthSystem, download the app to your mobile phone and register. You can send photos, videos and messages to a HURT! orthopedic specialist through the app and get a response within minutes. The HURT! experts will assess your situation and advise appropriate follow-up care with a network partner, a walk-in care location or an ER. The health system may receive your information. If needed, an orthopedic scheduler will contact you to make an appointment during business hours.
