Congratulations to Katy Hudspeth, LPN, who works at Olathe Health Internal Medicine and Pediatrics! Katy is the Frank H. Devocelle Legacy Award winner for 2020. Katy was one of six Outstanding Associates for Olathe Health in 2020. The senior leadership team then chose her to be named the annual Frank H. Devocelle Legacy Award Winner.

When Olathe Health quickly implemented telehealth at the beginning of the pandemic, Katy played a tremendous role in successfully rolling it out in our clinics. She educated herself on Webex functionalities and shared her knowledge with providers and nursing staff.

“Katy will go out of her way to study and educate herself, like she did with the telehealth implementation,” Josie Pratt, Medical Office Supervisor, said. “She volunteered to go to other primary care clinics on her days off to show them the process she created for telehealth video visits. She helped the clinics develop their own process unique to their practice.”

Aside from helping clinical staff, Katy is wonderful with patients. She connects with all patients to give them the best experience, and always shows compassion.
