Critical and Intensive Care
Our Critical Care Services
Patients who have suffered serious injuries or illnesses, as well as those who have just undergone complex surgeries are often brought to the ICU for care.
Our ICU team utilizes modern equipment and technology to provide safe, high-quality care, including cardiac and respiratory support and advanced monitoring equipment. As they recover and require less acute care, ICU patients may be transferred to other units in the hospital.
Depending on a patient’s needs, the ICU team may consist of several physicians and nurses, as well as caregivers from respiratory therapy, pharmacy, nutritional care, physical or occupational therapy, speech therapy, care management, social work and discharge planning. The skills and expertise these professionals bring to the team ensure that each patient receives the best possible care.
We understand that having a family member or loved one in the ICU can be difficult, so our critical care team members are dedicated to keeping the patient and his or her family members well informed and supported throughout their stay.
