Our compassionate and highly skilled nurse navigators help ensure your patient experience is as seamless as possible. They will help coordinate your initial appointments with a medical oncologist and other specialists, as well as collect medical information for the doctors’ analyses, get orders for additional tests when needed and identify support services.
We have a team of breast cancer nurse navigators who serve as the single point of contact to assist patients and families throughout their breast cancer journey by coordinating with all members of the cancer care team. To schedule an appointment, call 913-355-8000.
Jeni has worked in health care for more than 30 years, and spent most of that time as an oncology nurse. She earned her degree from the University of Kansas in 1986. As a nurse navigator, Jeni helps clarify information, schedule appointments and answer questions people may have about their diagnosis and treatment. She most enjoys providing reassurance and being able to put a smile on patients’ faces.

Julie has worked in oncology nursing for over 30 years and has been a nurse navigator for nearly 4 years. Julie attended Wichita State University and received a degree in nursing and is a certified oncology nurse. She is part of the Oncology Nursing Society, Lawrence Sunflower Chapter of ONS, and the Academy of Oncology Nurse and Patient Navigators. One of Julie’s top priorities is providing the best patient and staff education she can.
