Eighty-five percent of heart damage occurs within the first two hours of a heart attack, which is why Olathe Health care teams are on alert to quickly recognize the signs and treat patients as quickly as possible. As a Certified Chest Pain Center (CPC), Olathe Medical Center has dedicated a STEMI team prepared to diagnose and if necessary take patients to the cath lab within minutes to treat blockages and open affected arteries up again.
