Chest Pain Center
Eighty-five percent of heart damage occurs within the first two hours of a heart attack, which is why Olathe Health care teams are on alert to quickly recognize the signs and treat patients as quickly as possible. As a Certified Chest Pain Center (CPC), Olathe Medical Center has a dedicated STEMI team prepared to diagnose and if necessary take patients to the cath lab within minutes to treat blockages and open affected arteries.
We’ve been recognized for our ability to quickly provide the highest standards of care to stroke and heart attack patients by the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association. Olathe Health is the proud recipient of a number of Get With The Guidelines awards, a hospital-based quality improvement initiative created by the American Heart/American Stroke Association to improve the care of patients with cardiac diseases and stroke.
